I wanted to take the time to express thanks for the response of our church family in the days since we have been in the midst of these restrictions and been unable to meet.

As I have spoken with different folks in church, I have asked if there is anything they need or any help we can provide. In every instance, I have heard responses of others who are checking in, helping or are available to help. Though we are in undesirable circumstances, to hear and see how you all are ministering to one another is most encouraging. Thank you for continuing to do so.

Making adjustments and adapting to an ever-changing “new” is quite a challenge and I appreciate those who are involved in helping us utilize new methods to connect. Making videos of the Sunday morning service takes some doing and I thank those involved in producing the music and video. Having your own voice recorded is a little daunting and being on video is even more so. I appreciate those who, in spite of the uneasiness of this avenue, have been willing to make our morning services available. Thank you for your service to your church family!

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing,
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing,
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure;
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God's truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.
