Welcome! We're so glad you're here.
Calvary Memorial Church is a non-denominational Christian church in Racine, WI. Connect with us with any questions or come visit a Sunday service.

What can I expect when I arrive?

Our parking lot has easy access entries on Russet Street and Orchard Street off of Washington Avenue. Greeters will be posted at the canopy entrance off the parking lot and can assist you with any questions you have and point you to the location of our Sunday School classes and sanctuary. During the worship service, you will see visitor cards in the pew in front of you. Please fill out the information and let us know a little about you. You can also visit with some of our church family in the Connection Center following the service. They would love to meet you!

What happens during the Sunday worship service?

Our worship service lasts an hour and a half and features God-centered, theologically-rich music (hymns and praise music), scripture reading, prayer and Biblical preaching. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally-inspired Word of God. In service to the Word of God, we typically teach through whole books of the Bible (expository preaching) rather than jumping between passages or topics (topical preaching). This allows us to understand the entire passage in context.

What about my kids?

Programs are available on Sunday mornings during Sunday School (9:00 am - 10:15 am) for nursery age children through high school. During the worship service (10:30 am - 12:00 pm), children's church is available for nursery age children through first grade.

What do I wear?

Come as you are! You'll see a mix of attire, from "Sunday Best" suits and ties to business casual slacks and dresses to casual jeans and t-shirts.

Will I be asked to give money?

We do collect an offering during the service, but it is for our members and regular attendees. If you are a visitor, please do not feel obligated to give.
